In celebration of Canada’s 150th Anniversary with the support of Canadian Heritage the United Nations Association in Canada (UNA-Canada) is running Canada’s Diversity Advantage initiative; working to engage youth in exploring and celebrating Canada’s diversity, and the advantage that it brings to the country.
On Friday March 24th from 12pm-3pm, North York Centre will be hosting The Shared Heritage Festival, which is a part of the Canada’s Diversity Advantage project. This celebration is the culmination of several months of classroom teaching and youth leadership training.
The Shared Heritage Festival will convene youth directly engaged in the project to educate their peers from other schools and communities to a festival celebrating Canada’s 150th anniversary, and the shared heritage Canadians have and continue to shape.
Please join us in the Galleria at 5150 Yonge Street to enjoy live dance performances, music, art and much more.
